LUX Automation, together with Heyday Group were engaged to undertake the recent upgrade of Westmead Hospital in Sydney, NSW. This is the third stage of the refurbishment of the main hospital building.

• Ambulatory Care Unit – A full refurbishment of the existing Emergency Department, significantly upgrading the department. This included new consult rooms, treatment rooms and support services.

• Dermatology Unit – This unit also went under a major transformation with a refurbishment, also delivering new consult rooms, procedure rooms and support services.

• Cystic Fibrosis Specialist Service (CFSS) – Two areas will be refurbished to create Cystic Fibrosis and Respiratory Unit in-patient accommodation, as well as a dedicated Ambulatory Care Unit.

• Operating Theatres & PACU – Refurbishment of eight existing theatres and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

The Dynalite controls allow for easy and intuitive management of the lighting system, while the Dali lighting ensures a high level of energy efficiency. These controls allow for automated lighting adjustments, such as dimming or scheduling. Also, seamlessly integrates with the nurse call system.
